Do I need fishing license if the creek is in my property?

We are planning to purchase an acres rural property in Oregon and the creek that runs through the property is fulled of Salmon and Steelhead.

Do I need a fish license since it is technically in my property?

Do I need a hunting license in deer season?

Thanks
We are planning to use it as a vacation rental property. It is good to find out if license is need for fishing in the creek, which is technically in my property.
It will be a selling point for guest if they don’t need fishing license

In some states you are not required to purchase a fishing license to fish private ponds, at least if they are disconnected from waterways flowing out of your property. Not sure about Oregon, but the migratory fish are probably subject to trout stamp requirements so I would think you do need a license. Besides, if you can afford to purchase stream side property and you are a trout fisherman, you should want to support your state’s DNR in the first place and have the means to do so. That fishing license will help pay for better stream quality and more stocking downstream from you which you get the benefit from. It’s just the principle of the matter.

Good luck and congrats in advance, I hope to own such a piece of real estate one day.

I have photos a these types of “earth” writings or drawings from West Texas, and cannot think of the word to describe them, i have been told petroglyphs, but with what I have seen these are smaller types, made on stone. What I have photos of are made in the land at a particular site I camp at in far West Texas. Any help is appreciated.

Hunting Land Leasing – 3 Considerations

A hunting club begins by inviting the hunters to register as a member by paying Annual. Then, the direction of the club is on the lookout for private landowners who agree to lease their land for hunting. The amount collected in fees Membership supports the lease payments and members have access to the land use to track Thurs Thus, the hunting grounds of a hunting club and rental go together!

Sometimes, simply the availability of land leased for hunting hunters together to form a club. It is also possible that a hunting club did not have to look for private landowners outside his circle, one of its members could be an owner Land that is willing to lease their land for hunting.

There are three aspects to consider when passing through the leasing of land to hunt –

(1) While scouting some locations or areas that seem ideal for hunting, we can meet the areas of land belonging to private owners. While the concept of a hunting club or even leasing its land may be something that the owner has never heard or even thought of!

In this case, the hunter must explain about the club and why they would like the land during the hunting seasons. Once there is clarity regarding question, there should be no ties in addition to obtaining the land lease. In fact, many private owners would realize that the leasing of land for hunting will effectively bring an extra income! Even unused land is put to good use!

(2) The leases for hunting grounds should be paid annually. Thus, a budget must be prepared before the actual engagement of paper. How many members are there in the hunt club? A meeting with members should be required to reach a consensus regarding the annual fee. The amount received by each member when it is added up should be sufficient for one year lease on the property selected.

Say, the number of hunters is Unless, of course, the total amount collected is not enough to pay for any piece of property. The hunting club must find a means to increase membership or request of members to contribute higher amounts for annual fees.

(3) If the funds seem sufficient, the hunting club may approach private owners whose motives they want to lease hunting land. It is the parties to decide if the full rental payment shall be made once a year or a certain sum must be paid monthly. The monthly plan more viable, because a greater amount is collected as hunters become new members. Generally, annual contributions are paid on January 1. Money is used for the remains of repair, maintenance, etc. on the leased land for hunting, as agreed by both parties.
