Buffalo National River fishing?
what kind of fishng is out there and is it good fishing

I floated the Buffalo National River in a rented canoe a few years back. It was a nice trip. I’m told that there are trout in the river, but I didn’t see or catch any. We did catch some smallmouth bass. I had my wife and daughter with me in the canoe, so it was more of a canoe trip than a fishing trip. We stayed at the National Park campground. It was nice. Plenty of places to rent a canoe. Goodly numbers of canoers on the river. I fished from the canoe and from the bank with a flyrod at the camp and frankly I did not think the fishing was all that good.
