Beautiful, pristine and picturesque Otter Lake is nestled in the Similkameen Valley in south-west of the Okanagan the historic town of Tulameen, British Columbia. Tulameen, a historic gold, platinum and coal mining town, has long been one of the British Columbia popular recreation areas, offering hiking, fishing, canoeing, tubing, swimming, water skiing, skiing, gold panning, horseback riding, ATV-Ing, ice skating, snow mobiling and many other activities for both summer and winter outdoor enthusiasts. Common species of freshwater fish which can be found in the lake are Kokanee, largescale Sucker, Northern Pikeminnow (formerly N. squawfish), Steelhead and Torrent sculpin. A bike ride SCENIC 2 hours, you are around the lake along the Trans Canada Trail. Once your trip is done, you can stop at the picturesque Tulameen General Store for an ice cream or other refreshments.
Other amenities also include a restaurant, post office, liquor store, video rentals, bike rentals (Crossroads Bike Rentals), community center, outdoor skating rink, library, volunteer fire department, and snowmobile dealer & repair center.
The community of Tulameen and the Tulameen River derive their name from a Thompson Indian word red earth meaning '. A steep bank of the Tulameen River about four miles north of Princeton is the source of the prized red ocher for which the Indians traveled great distances to obtain. The settlement of Tulameen was earlier known as the Women's Camp, or Otter Flat. It lies between the eastern bank of the Tulameen River and the south end of Otter Lake. There are about 250 residents here, but this number grows in the summer months.

ga homestead tax exemption

I sold my principal residence of CA in 2006. Question about taxes.?
I moved from CA to GA in 2005 and bought my new home in Georgia in 2005. My CA did sell the property until June 2006. I incurred no income in CA but pay over $ 3k in property taxes and $ 4 million in transfer taxes. My questions are ... 1) Given that CA have no income to file a return tax b / c they sold the property in the state. I applied my homestead exemption so I owe no gain. 2) Can I cancel the transfer tax a State or eating. level? 3) I had two mortgages and had to cash out my 401k to pay for the property of CA (I moved for work). Is there anyway to write my loss incurred to pay the mortgage? 4) Any help I will help reduce the 10% penalty plus taxes on $ 15k out of my 401K? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! Alli
1. I do not believe, as you had no taxable income in CA in 2006, but check with the FTB to be sure. 2. No. Status: return due. Federal: Not a tax deductible if you can use to reduce the gain on the sale. 3. No, that is not deductible. Loss on sale of a personal residence is not deductible, nor is the payment of any mortgage. 4. The only way to avoid punishment is to roll on the frontloading in another qualified retirement plan and since you used for other purposes is no longer an option.
